SharePoint

Every plan, permit and certificate, findable from site

Job files scattered across a laptop, a ute glovebox and three phones is not a filing system. SharePoint puts every document in one structured place your whole crew can reach from anywhere.

Included from the Professional plan

Melbourne-based, on the ground across the south-east and northern suburbs, with support in Canberra and remote setup Australia-wide.

What customers actually search for

  • SharePoint setup small business
  • document management for trades
  • SharePoint Melbourne consultant
  • job file storage construction
  • OneDrive vs SharePoint business

For trade businesses the value is not "cloud storage" — it is being able to pull up last year's compliance certificate, the current set of plans or the site induction from a phone while standing on the job.

The problem

What scattered files cost you

Nothing is findable

The certificate exists. It is in an email attachment from 2023 on somebody's old phone.

Version confusion

Plans_FINAL_v3_REVISED.pdf — and nobody is certain which one the crew built from.

It leaves with people

Files saved to a personal account walk out the door when that person does.

No site access

The document you need is on the office desktop and you are forty minutes away.

What you get

What sharepoint setup includes

Structure designed with you

A folder architecture by job, client or year that matches how your business actually thinks.

Document libraries

Separate libraries for job files, plans, compliance certificates, safety docs and templates.

Permissions

Who sees what — office, field crew, subcontractors and clients each given the right access.

Version history

Every change tracked with the ability to roll back. No more filenames ending in _FINAL_v3.

Mobile access

Set up on the crew's phones so files are reachable from site, including offline for key documents.

Migration

Existing files moved across from local drives, Dropbox or personal accounts, with the structure applied as we go.

How it works

Four steps, and you are live

  1. 01

    Map the documents

What you keep, who needs it and how you look for it today.

  2. 02

    Design the structure

Libraries, folders, metadata and naming agreed with you before anything is built.

  3. 03

    Build and migrate

Sites and libraries created, permissions applied, existing files moved across.

  4. 04

    Roll out and train

Set up on devices with a walkthrough so the crew actually uses it instead of reverting to email.

FAQ

SharePoint Setup — common questions

OneDrive is personal storage tied to one user; SharePoint is shared storage owned by the business. Job files belong in SharePoint so they survive staff turnover.

You almost certainly already have it — most Microsoft 365 Business plans include SharePoint. The problem is that it comes empty and unstructured, which is the part we do.

Yes. External sharing can be enabled for specific folders or files with time-limited links, so a subbie sees the plans without seeing your accounts.

Yes. We set it up on their devices and mark key documents for offline access so poor reception on site is not a blocker.

Yes. We migrate existing files and apply the new structure during the move rather than importing the same mess into a new place.

SharePoint structure, migration and rollout are included in the Professional plan ($399 setup, $129/month).
